Susan Knabb started her baking career at home making wedding cakes over 35 years ago. As wedding trends began to include cupcakes and cookies, her focus also started to shift in this direction. In 2009 Susan opened the Sweeterie using her past wedding cake recipes and experience to create delicious gourmet cupcakes as well as lovely decorated sugar cookies. Her past wedding clients were excited to bring their kids to The Sweeterie.  They know Susan and The Sweeterie are committed to focusing on every detail and using only the finest ingredients to the delight of their many loyal customers.

Due to a shortage of labor and also increased family obligations, our regular hours have changed some:    WE ARE CURRENTLY only OPEN for walk-in and orders on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays  Except for holidays  Sunday-Wednesdays we are closed for regular retail (walk-in) business, but call about scheduling orders for those days.  Our current regular retail walk-in business and order business, Friday-Saturday hours are 10a-5p Fri and 10a-4p on Saturdays.  Call with any questions.    

NOTE: Kroger in Anderson Town Center still has a selection of our cupcakes and cut out cookies for sale in their bakery area.

Located at The Strand in Mariemont, The Sweeterie has specialized in exceptional cupcakes and cookies since 2009.
